Michelle's Birthday

Michelle turned the big 2-6 on 1/6/08 and we had a blast celebrating it! It even involves Natalie playing Guitar Hero...(my latest obsession and the only game I don't get crazy faced and red-eyed when Adam plays it). We had a great night out at dinner at The Cheesecake Factory with friends who included Natalie, Daniel & Britt, and Ryan & Brittany then some of us tried to go bowling again but the wait was way too long so we ended up having a Guitar Hero battle at the gracious Dye family's house...sooo much fun! It was a great birthday! Thanks to all who came out and made it special!

Life as a Hairstlyist

Well remember how was just saying we had an awesome New Year's Eve...well it was...then Adam and I had to get up at about 7:30 on New Year's Day to drive to Disneyland so that I could perform my apparent unreplacable talents as a stylist. My client who I really do love had asked me some time back to do her hair for the renewing of her vows. I of course procrastinated and was about to tell her I wasn't going to be able to do it because we had just gotten home three days before from down there, plus we had family in town and it just wasn't going to not be worth it... then she gave me an offer I couldn't refuse so we made the trek well not really trek but drive down to California for the third time in three weeks. I'm such a sucker I just can't say no. I feel like its my responsibility or duty or whatever. I appreciated the fact that my client thought that there was no other hairstylist on the face of the earth or more specifically the Anaheim area that that would be able to perform as well as me...but come on New Year's Day?! In all actuality it really wasn't that bad and we were back home at a decent hour that night so all was not lost...just a few missed football games.

Happy New Year!

Wow 2008! Well we had a great time ringin in the New Year with great friends, food and fun! We had lovely dinner with a big group and a select few went bowling at Red Rock Lanes the bowling alley at you guessed it...Red Rock the we went over to our great friends Daniel and Brittney's house for a little gather of friends and games...always a good time when Catch Phrase is involved! Then just before midnight we headed out to the nearby mountain to catch a great view of the fireworks on the strip...it was an awesome night and a ton of fun Happy New Year to you and all the best in 2008!

Christmas

Christmas was awesome this year like every other year...there's just something about this time of year that makes us so happy! We were able to go to Burbank this year and spend Christmas with the Delaney family and spend some quality time with our great friends Troy & Tiff and baby Makayla! All of our Christmas wishes came true including an awesome Canon Rebel xti that Michelle had been wanting for quite some time to hone her skills as a photography enthusiast...hope all your dreams and wishes came true too...

P.S. The only unfortunate bummer of the trip was on the way home when we were just past Primm and about 40 mins aways from home when we came to a halt and were stopped for two hours!!! Adam did some amazing maneuvering and we were able to pass a ton of cars but here is a picture to show you what we experienced!
